Keys of Fate
The idea of fate and determinism, the indeterminists and the proponents of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics - all of them try to determine how free a person truly is in their choices and actions. Yet at a certain point these ideas cease to contradict one another: any event sets off a chain of other events, regardless of the observer.
For events to happen, a key is sometimes needed - a point of reference, a trigger. And although it does not by itself affect the outcome, it is a support, a point of convergence.
Some of my pieces become Keys. It means that what is created by a single person - and it does not matter whether it was predetermined - creates a point in the Continuum from which a Path begins. Each Key sets out on its journey with a particle of my soul, finds a new owner, and begins a story.
Will I see it again? Will its path cross with another Key? What events will be tied to it - from pleasant little things to the defining turns of a life?
By agreeing to this journey on the page of the piece you have acquired, you can create such a point of reference - a Key of Fate. Perhaps this event will set off a fascinating chain of happenings that you are not destined to refuse.
